Our Story
Get to Know Us
Established in 2017, we are a workgroup comprising of both faith-based organizations and community agencies, united in pursuit of a shared objective: fostering awareness and knowledge within the African-American community about treatment resources available in Hamilton County, with the aim of lowering accidental overdose rates. Our mission includes destigmatizing Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Opioid Use Disorder (OUD), enlightening the community about the substances in use, and offering a secure and encouraging space for individuals to not only seek assistance, but also find treatment options.
